Rather than have you write a traditional paper about your leadership philosophy, I have designed an assessment that will allow you to be creative in expressing your leadership philosophy. The last section: leadership philosophy and legacy, will extensively discuss (in no less than 250 words) what kind of leader you are, how you lead, why your type of leadership is important, and the kind of impact you want to have as a leader. Give examples from your lived experience to illustrate your leadership philosophy (References are a must. Use Northouse plus at least two other scholarly sources). Lastly, your leadership legacy will include an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses as a leader.

Your Wikipedia page will look like an actual Wikipedia entry and have the following sections:

1. Life Experience
2. Formal Education
3. Work Experience
4. Personal Leadership Qualities
5. Leadership Philosophy and Legacy

All of these sections will be connected to each other. In other words, pick specific things from your life experience, formal education, etc., that contribute to your leadership philosophy.

Though your document will be created in Microsoft word, challenge yourself creatively to produce a product that is very similar to an actual Wikipedia page. This means including a picture of yourself and biographical information (as appropriate). It must be written in the first person voice. After all,it is about you and by you.
